Our network will serve as your advocate to address automobile claims where the insured has invoked the appraisal clause in an auto policy. He or she will utilize key industry-recognized estimating systems, such as Mitchell, CCC, Audatex, NADA. Such systems supplement the adjuster’s adjusting judgment and experience to prepare accurate and reliable damage estimates and properly determine the correct value of the claimed damages.
The adjuster will work with the insured’s designated appraiser to determine an agreed value of the contested claim valuation. If an agreed value cannot be reached, a mutually agreed umpire will be selected to assist in resolution.
Our network also has qualified umpires who can assist in resolving existing appraisal disputes. We will work with both parties to compile and evaluate all of the facts to reach an accurate and independent value on the contested claim valuation.
Our adjusters will serve as your advocate for primarily automobile and light truck diminished value claims from reception to closure using the lastest vehicle estimating software and industry accepted evaluation processes.
Diminished Value is the term typically used in the insurance claims industry. Diminished Value relates to some item of property that has lost some amount of its value due to damages from a claim event. Many people associate diminished value with auto appraisals only. However, these evaluations can be related to any type of property, such as trucks, trailers, boats, RV’s, structures, artwork, jewelry, collectibles and more.
